Yes, Trump, DOGE and the GOP fucked up bigly, because they incorrectly
assumed that "transgenetic" is the same as "transgender" when it is not.

TL;DR: transgenetic has nothing to do with male/female genders stuff.

The transgenetic lab mice in question were mice which had had their DNA
genetically altered so that they would be a closer match to human DNA,
which makes them better for conducting medical research on, because a
"better match" in animal testing means that the research becomes more
accurate for human application, making it more effective and safer.
